Designed in partnership with Kengo Kuma (the architect behind the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Stadium and the swirly-whirly Exchange building in Sydney), the boutique hotel features beautiful zen courtyards, a gallery, restaurants and frequent artist collaborations. Plus, being part of the Ace hotel chain, the rooms are cool as all get-out, with cosy, vintage-tinged décor and Japanese-style soaking tubs.
