Paddy is the brainchild of Melbourne social enterprise Tsuno, who also happen to be popping up with a pro-period exhibition later this week.

Paddy the wheat heat pack looks like the type of buddy you’d want to get a big warm hug from when you’re feeling cold, sad or crampy. Made from comfy corduroy for maximum huggability, he comes with a happy face, sad face, or decidedly meh face, though you might think about collecting all three so you’re covered for the full gamut of cold- and hormone-inspired emotions.

Paddy is the brainchild of Melbourne social enterprise Tsuno, who also happen to be popping up with a pro-period exhibition later this week. Called Shark Week, it features a curated list of 32 local artists, with each choosing a menstruation-themed euphemism to interpret visually.

If you’d like to see the phrases ‘riding the cotton pony’ or ‘Aunt Flo is visiting’ looking rather schmick, pop by Enough Space in Melbourne’s Prahran from 6pm on Friday January 15th. The exhibition will run until January 31st, and half the cost of every item sold will go to the International Women’s Development Agency.
