nadia hernandez exihition opening
Sydney folks: Venezuelan artist Nadia Hernandez has a rather stunning exhibition opening in your neck of the woods tonight.
Venezuelan-born artist Nadia Hernandez creates bold and pretty works about her home country’s folklore, incorporating collage, craft, objects and text – and she just so happens to have a rather stunning exhibition (presented by Mild Manners Gallery) opening in Sydney tonight. Called Cosas Antes y Después (which translates to Things Before And After), the show examines Nadia’s return to Venezuela after eight years, and all the surreal feelings that accompanied that experience. Pop past Special Group Studios at 270 Devonshire St, Surry Hills at 6pm tonight to catch the opening, or any time before it wraps up on Monday April 3rd.
