Russian artist Olga Inoue may be an exception to the rule, however, since her brushstrokes sweep across the page so subtly and precisely that it looks like she has no trouble at all with the pesky paints. Instead, she creates images of nature's forgotten fauna – sloths, owls, and lemurs, for example – plus sweet scenes of people playing and a garden's worth of colourful plants.
