A pigment-loving graphic designer has figured out some classic flicks’ colour palettes.
What gives a movie its feel? Of course, the story, sound, actors, and a whole lot of other things factor into the equation – but the colours of a film sure are important when it comes it expressing its unique mood and character. Just ask Roxy Radulescu. The Illinois-based graphic designer has been conducting some serious research into what colours appear in certain films. Below are a few of the frames she’s analysed and the particular colours that appear in them.
