margate location house
This colour-drenched house in London is over the top in the best kind of way.
Remember the ‘90s TV series Changing Rooms? The interior styling choices from the popular renovation show is one we would have liked to forget, but according to Amy Exton, the lady behind London’s exuberant Margate Location House, the show’s over-the-top choices are rather inspirational.
After buying a three-story townhouse in London, Amy embarked on her own home reno project, splashing the building's floors and ceilings in hot pinks, electric blues and trippy graphic patterns. There's nary a white wall in the house, and nearly every piece of decor commands your attention, but despite all the excess, the space is weirdly wonderful in its own way. Should you ever require an 'acid-aesthetic' house for a photo or video shoot, or even a special holiday getaway, you can also book the space out all to yourself.
