If only all performances of hypermasculinity could be transformed with a bit of crafty collage work.
UK-based artist Paper Draper has taken the old gesture of placing a flower in a rifle and thrown it into the boxing ring. Primarily using paper and collages, Paper Draper has added some truly adorable bouquets to a vintage boxing duo that single-handedly puffs away traces of violence in lovely pastel shades. Now instead of a performance of hypermasculinity, we have an image of two best friends gifting each other posies. Delightful!
