Javier Perez is a clever chap from Ecuador who uses a few simple pen strokes to turn everyday doodads into whimsical works of art. There's a carefully nibbled Oreo cookie transformed into a world globe, for instance, a blooming gramophone playing jolly tunes, a not-so-scary alligator with a mouth full of ring-bound chompers and loads more imaginative characters formed from odds and ends found around the house.
