iittala
Sweet dinnerware, thy name is Iittala.
Way back in 1881, a little glass factory by the name of Iittala started up in southern Finland. Since then, they’ve made stacks and stacks of oh-so sweet receptacles for eating and drinking with – including these ones. The range is called Taika, which translates to ‘magic’ in Finnish, and features charming illustrations from the likes of Klaus Haapaniemi. They’re the kind of designs that you notice a little more of each time you look at them, so odds are find yourself peering at your Taika plate long after you’re done eating off it.
