i want to know what love is
I Want To Know What Love Is is a theatrical work that trundles through the ups and downs of the L-word, based on love stories submitted by everyday folk.
Ahh, love. Isn't it grand. Although sometimes it can muddle your head up, too, and sometimes it makes you want to cry until your eye reservoirs dry up, then drink a bunch of water so you can keep on sobbing away. But the rest of the time? Yeah, it's pretty fab.
I Want To Know What Love Is is a theatrical work that trundles through the ups and downs of the L-word, based on love stories submitted by everyday folk to a specially created site. There's yearning, schmaltz and a little bit of heartbreak, as well as tales of crushes, conquests and secret confessions: but it's all true, and wrapped up into a special performance for your delight.
Part of the upcoming Brisbane Festival, it's showing from September 4th 'til September 13th, with frankie writer Daniel Evans in the director's hat. If a little bit of theatre-loving takes your fancy, you can find out more and nab yourself a ticket right over here.
