go on a virtual tour of the ngv
Explore the gallery without getting out of bed.
There’s a lot of stuff we’re going to miss doing in the coming months: hugging our mates, seeing gigs and heading out for a feed among them. It’s a good thing then that folks are continually finding ways to keep our spirits up while we bide our time indoors. Like the clever clogs at Melbourne’s NGV (National Gallery of Victoria), for example, who've launched a bunch of virtual exhibitions so we can still get our art fix while lounging about in our pyjamas. Right now, you can explore the Comme des Garcons exhibition Collecting Comme as well as the gallery’s Indigenous art collection Marking Time. Keep your eyes peeled for Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines, too, which will be available as a virtual tour on Saturday, March 28. To stay in the loop, pop by the NGV's Instagram.
