Know any young ladies born to smash guitars and sweat all over strangers? Then you might wanna give ’em the heads up about Girls Rock!, a music mentorship camp for self-identified girls, trans and gender non-conforming youth, aged 10 to 17. The next one’s happening in the sunny city of Brisbane, from September 26th to 30th. Girls will form their own bands, learn to play instruments, and no doubt forge some lasting friendships with likeminded lasses.
Oh, and if you don’t squeeze into the age bracket, but still want to be part of the radness, you can always sign up to volunteer as a coach, manager or roadie. We salute you in advance.
