These enormous doilies from Portuguese design collective Lacadas remind us a bit of an old sci-fi show called Land of the Giants. During every episode there would inevitably be a bit where a (normal-sized) human would have to sneak across a giant's living room, dodging humorously large cups of tea, gigantic telephones and books, and dangerously oversized forks and spoons. Basically, one of these doilies would allow you to re-enact this in your own house. Each one is made by hand using recycled fabric, as well as being a wee bit frightening.
