frankie fodder: easter white chocolate crackles
Just like a chocolate Easter treat… only crunchy.
If you’re after an easy recipe to make this Easter, then look no further than this white chocolate crackle slice! Full of chocolate eggs and nostalgia, this slice is a modern take on the classic party food, chocolate crackles.
INGREDIENTS:
200g white chocolate
1/2 cup of your favourite Easter treats (mini-eggs, crushed Easter eggs or whatever you fancy!)
2 cups Rice Bubbles
100g plain biscuits (finely crushed)
METHOD:
1. Break the white chocolate into pieces and finely chop the biscuits. Place the white chocolate into a heat-proof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until melted.
2. Mix the melted chocolate, Rice Bubbles and biscuits together, then fold through the Easter treats.
3. Press mixture firmly with the back of a spoon into a lined 20cm slice tin.
4. Place into the fridge for 30 minutes or until set. Then cut into chunks, and enjoy!
