Our digital copywriting strategist has her eye on some delightful duds and novelty wares.

Start your engines – we’ve only got a li’l way to go until the silly season begins. As big fans of silliness all year round – festive or otherwise – we can't wait any longer to start dreaming up all the bits we’re wishing for this Christmas. Enter: the frankie staff Christmas wishlist! First up is our digital copywriting strategist – aka blogger – Juliette. Have a squiz below at what Jules is hoping to find under the tree this Chrissie.

Follow the number guide in the above image.

1. OK, OK – snagging a jacket just as summer is swinging around may seem counterintuitive. But as someone who only wears mini skirts and shorty-shorts for the entire three months of sunshine we have coming up, I need to be smart on top. Hence, I love a swish jacket. I’ve been dreaming in polka dots as of late, and so this super-cute quilted jacket from Em On Holiday is just the vibe. Plus, it’s reversible, so I can still be emo when I want.

2. Safety pins shaped like a heart? I’m obsessed with this dreamy piece of jewellery, along with everything else from Underground Sundae. The Melbourne/Naarm-based label sure knows the way to my (safety pin) heart.

3. I love ice-cream. Like, really love it. So you can guess the limits of my adoration for this sundae-shaped incense holder from Suku. Hint: the limit does not exist.

4. My current handbag is on its last legs. Or, should I say, its last straps. I’ve done some DIY repair magic but I just know it won’t last the summer. This swanky bag from My Mum Made It, however, looks impossible to break. Oh, and it’s adorable!

5. These teeny-heeled ballerina lace-up shoes from Post Sole Studio are equal parts fancy and practical. As someone who famously can’t walk in high heels, I can’t wait to get my mitts on these baby ones. Just watch me not trip and fall!

6. I’d be lying if I said I was a surfer. In fact, I rarely swim. My sneaky suspicion is that I’ve just never found bathers that I love. I reckon this boy-leg-bottomed swimsuit from Winki Suits might just do the trick.

7. I’m going to need to wear my brand-spanking-new ballerina heels with something, right? I’ve had my eyes on these knee-high socks from DAL1992 for a while, and I think I might just have to take the plunge this Christmas. They truly are *mwah* chef’s kiss.

8. I’m slowing collecting an assortment of nice bits and bobs for my abode and, finally, the bathroom is my final frontier. If Santa gifted me this moss-coloured hand towel (and maybe the matching bath towel if he’s feeling extra generous) this December 25th, I will be one jolly gal.

9. This may sound like shameless self-promotion, but I assure you it’s not... not on purpose, anyway. I sincerely looove early issues of frankie. I mean, look at this cover! And the fashion! And an interview with the one and only Sofia Coppola! I need to get my hands on this, pronto.

10. I recently rediscovered a collection of polaroid photos I’d taken throughout my teens – and by collection, I mean upwards of 500 snaps. It’s made me miss the tangibility of photos, but alas, my old camera has disappeared. If I snag this one for Chrissie, my 2026 can be immortalised into film just like my 2010s were – teenage Jules will be oh so happy.
