diy vintage ice cream van
A teeny-tiny craft project, sure to sweeten your day.
So, there was this episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, wherein a character based on the real-life Screech from Saved By the Bell was running a drug operation out of an ice cream van, in which he also lived, which has semi-scarred us, but not so much so that we’re not smitten to bits by this DIY.
Made entirely from foamboard and paper, this miniature vintage ice cream van features a dash-mounted steering wheel, bench seat, and number plate. Seriously, designer Jacqueline Wagner has thought of everything. Check out her blog for all the instructions, and a bunch of other excellent retro-inspired projects.
