This office in Japan uses coloured pipes to communicate with each other. Pretty nifty idea, hey?

Office workers: ever wished you actually spoke to your colleagues, rather than emailing them all the time? Then perhaps you’d like to nick this idea from Kamitopen. The Japanese architectural firm whipped up a new office design for a company by the name of Yudo – and to help employees brainstorm and collaborate, Kamitopen installed these colourful pipes. Folks use the pipes to chat to folks in other areas of the office. They also add some much-needed colour to the typically drab workspace. Well done, Kamitopen!
