It’s easy to assume that collage is a busy medium with lots of contrasting bits and pieces. Sometimes, though, you stumble across artists like Crissy Arseneau who remind you that simple, graphic shapes are a work of art all on their own. The Canadian artist’s series Cloud City features watercolour papers, cleverly layered into soothing cloud formations. It’s just like staring out the window, only on your computer.
