FYI a stroopwafel is basically two thin waffles smooshed together with caramel.
If you’ve never heard of stroopwafels before, brace yourself. It’s a Dutch creation, consisting of two thin layers of baked dough, filled with caramel syrup. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?
