Oh boy oh boy oh boba.
Let’s face it – slurping down three boba milk teas in a row doesn’t exactly qualify as a snack, and will probably give you a stomach ache. So if you’re feeling a bit peckish and have a hankering for those chewy, delectable tapioca pearls, consider giving this cupcake recipe a whirl.
Dreamt up by Maryanne Cabrera of The Little Epicurean, these milk tea cupcakes are filled with brown sugar boba and are topped with milk tea buttercream. (Pause to wipe up any drool that may have just escaped from your mouth.) The only downside about these treats is that they need to be filled and frosted immediately before serving, so don’t boil all your boba at once!
