Buying yourself some real estate in New York may be a little way off, but you can always nab your kitty a traditional Brooklyn building.
Thanks to Måns Swanberg, aka Famous OTO, you can now house your kitty in a traditional Brooklyn building. The New York-based Swedish designer was inspired by the kind of old brick structures that have a bodega or bistro downstairs and a wonky apartment or two upstairs. His cardboard cat houses are miniature versions of the same places, complete with old school signwriting, peeling paint and a wee coffee window, too.

(Sadly, Famous OTO only ships in the US for now, so you’ll also have to budget for an American pal to help you out with postage. Or bribe them with cat photos! Hey, it could work.)
