What’s wrong with being a deranged film fan? Nothing, really, as these photos attest. The series, called Celebrated for You, is a collaboration between set designer Nicole Heffron and photographer Henry Hargreaves, who staged faux celebrations for iconic filmmakers, one for each month of the year. What we dig – aside from the obvious artistry and photographic excellence – is the fact that they imagined the parties were hosted by hardcore fans. Get a load of party favours, birthday cakes and tipples all chosen specifically with a movie in mind. You'll find Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese and David Lynch right here (but not in that order – see if you can guess which is which without reading the credits!), and if you want to check out the entire series, pounce in this direction.
