Turns out you can create a typeface from, well, anything.

There’s no hiding the fact that we’re big fans of words around these parts – words in print, words on screen, handwriting, brush lettering… It all makes us rather giddy. But we’ve never contemplated making said words out of shoelaces. Or sunflowers. Or cake, for that matter. It turns out you can make a typeface out of just about anything – if you have the patience and dexterity of Becca Clason, that is.
