another look exhibition
Art lovers: there’s an intriguing exhibition happening in Melbourne town at the moment.
Melbourne art lovers: if you fancy having a squiz at some brand new eye candy, you might like to check out an exhibition called Another Look. Showcasing fresh new works by Siri Hayes, Vivian Cooper Smith, Tai Snaith, Kylie Stillman and Dana Harris, the pieces in the exhibition are a response to the Hawthorn Town Hall’s gallery collection. Tai was particularly smitten with the art of Helen Maudsley, and the way that her work takes apart and examines the self and female identity (which might explain why Tai’s sculptures – pictured here – look rather like lady parts). Pop past Town Hall Gallery (360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn) any time till December Wednesday 20th to see it with your very own peepers.
