Anna Bu Kliewer’s work has that special ability to transport you to alternate realities. Take one look at the London-based mixed media artist's collages and you’ll be sucked into a parallel universe where gravity ceases to exist, faces lead to geographic wonders and limbs form part of a the natural landscape. Anna creates these surrealist works by scouring markets and thrift shops around the world for material to cut and collect. Then, it's a matter of sitting down to sort and organise her clipppings (a process that can take days) before she puts her quirky sensibility and humour onto the page.
