a trip to tasmazia

If you like your hedges well-kept, your humour off-kilter and your buildings in miniature, you might want to consider a quick trip over the Bass Strait.

You might have noticed Tourism Tasmania popping up on the frankie website recently, so the Apple Isle has been on our minds. If you like your hedges well-kept, your humour off-kilter and your buildings in miniature, you might want to consider a quick trip over the Bass Strait to lose yourself – quite literally – at a little place called Tasmazia.

Not too far from Cradle Mountain, you’ll find eight puzzling mazes, piles of pancakes and our favourite part, the Village of Lower Crackpot – a tongue-in-cheek model township boasting a lack of political correctness, not to mention its very own Australia Post stamp. And just as a side note – we would quite like to live there, please, nestled snugly inside one of the pint-sized painted houses.
