This year, NAIDOC Week is marking 50 years of its week-long celebration.
From July 6th to July 13th, NAIDOC Week is taking hold of the country. Celebrating and recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, NAIDOC Week is the perfect time to learn, engage, connect and celebrate the history of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. VICTORIA Connections to Home: Uncle Col (Marra) Clark and Jenny Murray-Jones: Coming Home – This double exhibition is an exploration of connection, family and culture at Melbourne/Naarm’s Fed Square by two artists, Barkindji and Ngiyampaa Elder, Uncle Colin (Col) Clark and Yorta Yorta and Baraparapa artist, Dr Jenny Murray-Jones, open from now until August 10th.
NEW SOUTH WALES NAIDOC Solid Ground Exhibition 2025 – Taking place at Carriageworks in Sydney/Warrane, this exhibition has invited students from local schools to create artwork that celebrates culture, indentity and legacy, open until July 13th.
AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY NAIDOC in the North – This year marks 10 years of NAIDOC in the North at Belconnen Arts Centre and they’re throwing a community-centric celebration to suit on July 12th.
TASMANIA NAIDOC Week 2025: Yarning and Making – Launceston/kanamaluka’s Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery is hosting a series of classes and workshops for NAIDOC Week, including this free weaving activity on July 6th.
QUEENSLAND Musgrave Park Family Fun Day – Musgrave Park in Brisbane/Magandjin will be coming alive with a celebration of live entertainment across two stages on July 11th.
NORTHERN TERRITORY Kalano's 2025 NAIDOC Family Fun Day – This free family-friendly celebration in Katherine will be a gathering of community spirit, culture and fun with a range of activities and entertainment on July 9th.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA NAIDOC in the Mall – Rundle Mall in Adelaide/Tarntanya will be transformed into a family-friendly celebration with a Welcome to Country and photography installation on July 8th.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA NAIDOC Festival – A free community event in Armadale that invites people to gather and connect with live music, children’s activities and a free sausage sizzle on July 8th.
