Brooklyn-based photographer Pixy Liao expertly crafts tales of Memphis, Tennessee in this photo series from between 2006-2008. In Pixy's snaps, silent shopfronts are juxtaposed with colourful salons and aging buildings, as if the city was frozen in time in the '50s. Take a stroll through Memphis below.
