If you think a regular old gingerbread house is nifty, wait until you see Sugar and Cloth’s surfy version that includes a caravan, rainbow lights and a little flamingo, to boot. It’s one of those things that’s so impressive that it seems daunting to re-create – but when you look closer, you realise it isn’t actually that tricky. The presents are pre-bought lollies, and the rug and fence are made from good old sour straps and jelly beans. You can do it! Its’ not even that hard to whip up the caravan, because they’ve drawn up a paper template you can use – just bake up a regular batch of gingerbread and use their guide to cut it into the right shapes.
