Now, here’s something to look forward to, Melburnians: The acclaimed theatre production, The Dictionary of Lost Words, is heading your way for a limited season. Produced by Sydney Theatre Company and State Theatre Company South Australia, this play is based on Aussie writer Pip Williams’ bestselling novel of the same name, this historical tale follows the creation of the first-ever Oxford English Dictionary and our main character Esme, who begins to explore how words can mean different things (especially for men and women), and how the vocabulary of women was overlooked.

Playing on the 17th of February until the 10th of March at Arts Centre Melbourne and starring Brenna Harding (Puberty Blues and Black Mirror), we reckon that seeing this lovely stage adaption is ideal for any peeps who enjoyed the book, so make sure to pop over here to book a ticket. The Adelaide and Sydney seasons sold out pretty quickly, so hurry before they sell out!
