jake henzler knits colourful cityscapes
It’s easy to see why Sydney crafter Jake Henzler fell in love with Danish architecture. Copenhagen – where Jake lived for a year – is famous for its ridiculously cute block-coloured buildings, and it’s these charming views that inspired Jake to knit a blanket in celebration of the Nordic city. His pattern – Copenhagen Building Blocks – shows you how to recreate the adorable grid for yourself, and can be sewn into blankets, scarves, cushions or decorative panels. While we’re no fans of putting menfolk on pedestals, we have to admit that it’s nice to see a chap embracing what’s historically been considered “women’s work”. You’ll find more of Jake’s ace knitting adventures (and a few of his sweet woolly critters) over on Instagram.
