Who would have thought that clay and thread could come together so harmoniously? Swedish artist Caroline Harrius is the clever lady behind these impressive ceramic works, each one decorated with cross-stitch and embroidery. She's been working with clay for a number of years now, but it’s only recently that she began experimenting with intricate adornments. To make each work, she shapes her vessel, pricks tiny holes into the clay and fires it before carefully threading string through.
