calling all dog and cat lovers: brisbane is holding two rad festivals
It’s no secret that we Aussies are pretty obsessed with our pets, with approximately 69 per cent of our households owning a pet, and our Kiwi pals aren’t too far behind with 68 per cent, which means a lot of cuddly faces and wagging tails to keep up with (not that we’re complaining, of course). If you love pooches and moogies, then have we got some good news for you! Brissy pals (and interstate buddies) can catch The Dog Lover’s Festival and, for the first time, The Cat Lover’s Festival on the 9th and 10th of March.
The two festivals will be held next door to each other at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, so you won’t have to miss out on catching all the super-fun cuteness of both events. From education and awesome key speakers to skateboarding critters and adoption opportunities to help bring a new best friend into your abode to cuddle long after the festivals end, we reckon that this event is a must-see for any and all animal fans. Have a read of everything you’ll need to know about the two events over here and here, and take a gander at all of the adorable goodness in our photo gallery above!
The Dog Lover’s Festival and The Cat Lovers Festival will take place from March 9th – 10th at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
