We can’t get enough of local artist Alessia E’s handmade ceramic pieces that will instantly bring a smile to your dial. The Brisbane-based sculptor says on her site that “the idea of rejecting a serious adult life is a theme I believe embodies a lot of my artistic practice”. Playful and fun for the sake of playfulness and fun! Just perfect.
Her work includes peaceful cloud-shaped trinket trays, teeny smiling vases and happy mushroom pins. Be sure to keep an eye out on Insta for future drops and upcoming market appearances. Take this as a reminder to slow down and embrace the silly parts of life. They’re often the best bits.
