Here's what we like about photographer Fausta Facciponte's series Doll-a-Rama. Rather than take shots of perfect, mint-condition vintage toys, she's found ones that have been "pre-loved" in the best ways: a few scuff marks and chipped paint marks, hair chopped short by a previous owner. (Gosh – everyone did this, right? What is it about being a little kid and hacking into doll hair?) They're part of Fausta's Lost and Found project, inspired by old and forgotten things found in op shops and garage sales. And we find them quite neat.
