We love all kinds of craft at frankie, but there’ve certainly been times over the years when the art of crochet has copped a bit of flak; being reserved only for grandmas and the occasional summer music festival-goer. Emmanuelle Lee, the crafty designer behind Melbourne label IM ME, is here to prove that crocheted wares can, in fact, look pretty darn fancy.
IM ME’s crochet and knit-inspired bags are constructed using metallic lurex in bold hues like ultramarine, absinthe, chrome and acid, making them the perfect accessory for the party season (though we'd happily hang one from our shoulder all year round).
