The Kiwi singer has a fresh new tune to jam to.

Inspired by the sounds of MUNA, Caroline Polacheck, Wolf Alice and Troye Sivan, Isla Noon’s newest single “Body” is a groovy ode to the trials of growing up. The NZ singer especially focuses on those pesky and nasty thoughts relating to one’s body (hence its title) and the self-esteem issues that are born from that, with Isla describing this track as a “reclamation of self”.

“From such an early age we are flooded with input and commentary on what is and isn’t OK about our bodies. It’s such an overwhelming intrusion of what is really a private relationship”.

Have a listen to the track below, and don’t forget to check out the accompanying music video over here, while you’re at it.
