The debut album from the five-piece, Poor Virginia, is chock full of brassy interludes and hip-swaying beats, perfect for the dimly lit bars they frequent in their hometown of Melbourne. But it's not all the gloomy blues – they've managed to weave a bit of country, some dreamy folk and a dash of swing in there too, so there's plenty to get your toes a-tappin', whatever your mood.
