You know the kinds of music-makers that use their lyrics to tell a heartfelt tale? The ones that your dad, or uncle, or brother wax lyrical about, giving long-running commentary from behind misty eyes? Well, we imagine that Big Strong Brute – aka Paul Donoughue's – new track "Wedding Pages" will get the same treatment.
Touching on current-day political topics like marriage equality and cultural conservatism, it still manages to stay upbeat and utterly catchy, with a wee bit of folk, a touch of indie pop and even a dash of rock thrown in there too.
