the nursery project
When two green-thumbed types join forces, not only do you have some very colourful digits, but some bloody genius ideas too, apparently.
When two green-thumbed types join forces, not only do you have some very colourful digits, but some bloody genius ideas too, apparently. Country-dwelling partners Rohan Anderson (aka blogger and author of Whole Larder Love) and Kate Berry (whose photos you might recognise from frankie issue 62) are living, breathing, sowing proof of that.
Having ditched a modern diet for health reasons and instead embraced a life of living off the land, the pair are keen to share their knowledge and keep the ball of positive change a-rolling. To do that, they've come up with The Nursery Project: a place where people can "get their hands dirty, breathe in some fresh air, talk, sit around a campfire and leave with a new lust for life". In other words, they'll teach us how to grow, cure, preserve, hunt, forage and cook our own food, on a friendly property with an open-door policy in their current home of Daylesford.
Sounds pretty ace, right? If the idea of the Nursery Project gets you all giddy, they're currently running a crowdfunding campaign over here where you can find out more and even lend a helping hand.
