We're proud as punch to be partnering up with the Centre for Adult Education on this creative competition, and also pretty psyched that entries are open right now.

We love an opportunity for people to show off their crafty prowess, and if you've picked up a copy of issue 58 (if not, ahem, it's available here) you'd have come across the Reginald CAE Portrait Prize for Softies. It's essentially the Archibald Prize for soft toys: just whip up a stitched and stuffed replica of your chosen person or pet. We're proud as punch to be partnering up with the Centre for Adult Education on this creative competition, and also pretty psyched that entries are open right now.

There'll be a major prize to be judged by frankie favourites Cat Rabbit and Pip Lincolne – that's them in softie form on the left – as well as a people's choice and special frankie award judged by our very own creative director Lara Burke. Whoopee! Works from all finalists will go on display at CAE in Melbourne, but entries close March 7th, so you'd best grab your needle and thread and get stitching quicksmart.

This competition is now closed.
