Lena Hanzel's collection, Room for Emptiness, is drawn by hand on vintage dishware picked up at flea markets in her hometown, Berlin.

The way Lena Hanzel sees it, her products are one big happy family. There's the hand-painted sugar bowl at the head of the clan, some pretty vintage mugs loving up the crockery cupboard and a whole bunch of little egg cups to round out the tribe.

The gang (found under the label Room for Emptiness) is pulled together by three decorative patterns, drawn by hand on vintage dishware picked up at flea markets in her hometown, Berlin. There are some first and second cousins thrown into the family get-together as well, with the delicate designs also applied to recycled cards and tea towels.
