Attention fashion nerds! There’s one heck of an exhibition on at Bendigo Art Gallery right now, Marimekko: Design Icon 1951 to 2018. The show traces the Finnish textile and fashion label’s history, from its emergence in the golden age of post-war modernism, right through to the present day. With over 60 outfits on display, along with swathes of original fabrics, homewares, sketches and assorted archival bits and bobs, there’s heaps of stuff for fans of colourful duds to check out.
