Divvying up household chores is a delicate and often trying experience. Is taking out the bins equal to scrubbing the toilet? Should the person who cooks be the person who cleans? The only way to sort it out is through chitchat and compromise, but this game out of Sweden could also be of use.

Centering around the kitchen fridge, Komma Lika ("getting equal") turns household tasks into something a wee bit arty. Every time you do a chore that benefits others, you get points (in the form of different sized magnets). Each person is allocated their own colour, and together they form a pretty pattern, so by the end of the game period – say a month, or a week – the colours will be balanced if you've worked as a team.

Pretty clever, huh? Right now you can only nab the game set in Sweden and France, but keep your eye on the website for more countries soon.
