grown and gathered workshops and open day
During February and March, Matt and Lentil are inviting farm-curious folk to visit them in Tabilk and enrol in one of their brand new workshops.
It's no secret that we think Lentil and Matt Purbrick are the bee's knees (and if you read about their flower swapsies in issue 60, you probably do too). Aside from being one of the coolest married couples we know, the jolly twosome run Grown and Gathered: a farm located just a short jaunt out of Melbourne selling seasonal organic veggie boxes and trading you their colourful blooms.
During February and March, Matt and Lentil are inviting farm-curious folk to visit them in Tabilk and enrol in one of their brand new workshops. They cover all sorts of handy tidbits like how to grow your own vegetables, pickling and preserving how-tos and ways to live waste-free – all from the comfort of your inner-city abode. Then again, if you'd just like to peer over their shoulders as they go about their daily business (creep), as well as tasting their homegrown goodies, you might prefer to roam about their acreage at the open day scheduled for Sunday March 29th.
Workshop prices range from $20 to $250 for adults, and if you'd like to reserve a spot or read up on them a little more, you can find all the info over here.
