Our senior designer, Aimee Carruthers, has plenty to ask Santa for this Christmas.

The latest addition to the frankie family, senior designer Aimee Carruthers, joins us from across the Tasman in her native New Zealand. As some of you might know, starting your life from scratch requires oodles of new bits and pieces, so she has plenty to ask Santa for this Christmas.

1. Having recently landed at frankie HQ (and in the country!), I've had to start from the beginning with my home furnishing and decor. My first and most important purchase: knick-knacks. Thankfully I've found this swish thing to store them in.

2. I need a little encouragement to separate my whites from my colours come laundry time, so maybe this dotted basket is just the reminder I need.

3. My walls are lacking in the art department too, but framing this beaut card by Alice Berry will get things started.

4. This little multi-purpose carry case is blue, brassy and classy. Just the way I like it.

5. Me: "Mum, can I get some tattoos for Christmas?" Mum: "What? Um, no." Me: "What if I told you they were both tasteful AND temporary?" Mum: "Ask your father."

6. Even though the Plant Protection Services probably have an order against me owning anymore leafy lifeforms, I can't stop buying things in which to hold them. Bridget Bodenham's ceramics - with their organic forms and splashes of copper - have me hanging out for the green stuff.

7. I'm hoping Santa will bring me some wheels this year. Two wheels, to be precise, with a basket, chainguard and a rear rack for my books. Ta, Santa.

8. I have stacks of love for these stackable rings by Abby Seymour. Handmade in my new home state of Victoria!
