frankie fashion runway wrap-up
Oh, how we love a good catwalk. Especially one with tee pees.
Oh, how we love a good catwalk. Especially one with tee pees. Last night the frankie runway show at L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival went a little bit south by south west, with knitted cacti and canvas tents dotting the catwalk, for that down home on the prairie feel. The immaculately dressed librarian look was strong, with enough pairs of patterned pants to give us wardrobe changes for months to come. There was also a huge array of garden-of-Eden style accessories, including giant floral sashes and headgear the size of pot plants. Here are some photos of our runway and all of the rad designers who walked for us. From top to bottom we have Kuwaii's metallic fabrics and leafy accessories, Gorman's geometric, preppy print-off, Limedrop's luscious flowy fabrics, Nevenka's sheer delights, Leonard Street's playful display of dazzling patterns and Friend Of Mine's Ivy League properness. It was such a delightful night and we'd like to say a massive thank you to all who were involved. Photography by Lucas Dawson.
