We don’t know how, we don’t know why. But in the latter half of the 20th century, Joanna Lumley, Richard Briers and a bunch of other likely British TV stars did the world a highly questionable favour and modelled for a knitting pattern book. The theme of the designs is either “unbridled awesomeness” or “unbridled insanity” – or both!
