One day we plan to build a real life grown-up house with all kinds of luxuries, but until then, we'll make do with this little abode for succulents.
One day when we're real life grown-ups we plan to build a house complete with all our favourite luxuries: a wraparound veranda, walls lined with knickknack-toting display cabinets, a floor-to-ceiling library (perhaps with in-built slide) and wooden floors ready to be swathed with the finest of crocheted rugs.
For now, though, we'll have to make do with constructing this little clay house for our succulents. The lovely lady behind the Fellow Fellow blog has created a DIY complete with downloadable PDF instructions, and with an oven, knife and rolling pin required, it reads more like an exercise in baking than miniature architecture. Which is great, if you're handier with a some beaters than a compass.
