Give those candles a snazzy resting place.

If you’re a candle-lover like us (or ‘flame hound’, if you prefer), you might be guilty of buying candles and resting them on old kitchen plates when lit, or stashing the cool long ones in cupboards and forgetting about them. No longer!

Check out these wibbly wobbly candelabras from New Zealand designer Joshua Milward, trading as Sitting Pretty. All the pieces are handmade in his Mount Maunganui studio and are a treat for the eyes as well as the senses (once you pop a candle in there, that is). Playful and fun and available in a range of colours, even the cosiest of spaces will accommodate one of these delights. Did we mention it’s fun to say the word candelabra out loud?
